Aloha!
Le Jardin Academy has been on the PYP journey for eight years, with many ups and downs. The Lower School has gone through several leadership changes, curriculum upheavals, and other challenges. Through it all, there have been dedicated and nurturing teachers working tirelessly on units of inquiry, curious and intelligent students, and supportive parents.
So many people believe in the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate and the mission of Le Jardin. The two twist and meld together in many ways. Fostering a community of creative, responsible, caring, and critical thinkers is very important.
This site is a place to bring all those ideas together. Pictures, written work, and good old fashioned information can be found about the PYP, Le Jardin Academy's Junior and Lower Schools, and the way they work together. Please visit this site often to see what unit is being taught at each grade or to chime in on a blog entry. Ask a question or fill out a survey.
However, you want to use this site, please enjoy. Thanks again for joining me on our journey. You have made this school an enviable place to grow and learn. I appreciate your dedication.
Best,
Brooke
